Lessons learned DIA 2023 👩💻
Our team looks back on a thought-provoking week at #DIA2023.
We had the honour of hosting two sessions where we explained how blockchain and SSI can de-risk operations, incentivise data sharing, and empower patients.
We also joined various other sessions. Here are some of our key insights:
✅ It’s more difficult to predict clinical trial performance than ever before. Risks and cycle times continue to increase. There's a large need for novel methods to de-risk & improve study predictability.
✅ We need to have incentives in place to make it worthwhile for industry, care providers, and patients to share their data and we have to build the infrastructure to enable this.
✅ There’s a growing number of industry initiatives that focus on returning individual participant data to boost patient empowerment and control.
